Lesson from Life

 I want to share with you a story about a proud and rich father and how he learned a LIFE lesson from his own son.

    A Father  is so proud of himself  because he was able to give his son the best life he could ask for. One day he called on his son and told him that they are going to spend a day with a family on the farm they own. So they went and they spend the whole day with a poor farmer family. On their way home, the father being proud of himself asked his son about their trip.

"Now you've seen how poor people live. Aren't you happy that you are not like them?"
  The son looked at his father and said."Yes, father, I have seen how they live. Father, we have a big  house while they have small but our house is always empty, theirs is always filled with people sharing and loving each other. We have books , encyclopedias and other classic books while they have only  the bible to read. We buy our foods with our money while they plant and harvest their own, eating what they want for free. We have many lights and lamps to brighten our house but they only have the stars and the moon in the sky. We have tall fences to protect us while they have friends to protect them. We have luxurious furniture and ornaments to make our house beautiful and they have the trees, flowers and the green grass to make their surrounding beautiful.Yes, Father I have seen how they live and I want to thank you for making me see how "poor" we are!
